Virtual Instrumentation Beans (VIB) are JavaBean components used to design MIStudio applications. They are divided into two types: graphical and servers/manipulators. The graphical components are used in the Design Windows of MIStudio. The servers/manipulators are logical components which are device drivers, data simulators, database connectors, data manipulators, scripting, and other components that work “behind the scenes” and are used in the Diagram Window of MIStudio.
