Deploying to MIX from MIStudio

Set up a MIX Target When you start a new project in MIStudio you will be prompted for a deployment type. Select “MIX” from the options and name the target, for example, “mix”. Once MIStudio is running, configure the MIX target under the MIStudio MIX node. Most importantly, set the IP address to your target MIX system (localhost can be used for local testing, if you are running MIX on your local system for testing). The default administrative login and password will be already set (“ergouser” and “default”).

Start MIX on the Target System The MIX Runtime must be running on the target system.

Build and Deploy the MIX Projec Use “Deploy to Target” for your MIX target in MIStudio to build and deploy the project to MIX. Be sure the hostname (IP Address) of the deployment system is set in the target configuration before you build the deployment.

After Deployment After the project is built and deployed you will see a “Browse To Target” prompt in MIStudio. If you opt to browse to the target, a web browser will be opened to the target URL.
