MIStudio Projects

TransSECS for MIStudio deployment provides a great way to build a 24/7/365 backend to handle SECS/GEM communication while providing a robust stand-alone or web-based user interface to the application. Other options for a user interface are available using the programmatic version of TransSECS which generates .net or java libraries for integration. Another option is to deploy the TransSECS project as an OPCUA or MQTT server and use any OPCUA or MQTT client to interface to your own HMI application.

If you have installed TransSECS Plus or TransSECS Pro, MIStudio deployment is an option. To test the sample MIStudio project, first use the TransSECS Builder application to generate the code for the GEMTool Sample Project. Then close this project and load the GEMHost Sample Project and generate its code.

Next start MIStudio. It starts by loading the GEMTool project. If you see messages that indicate that the GEMTool SECS components are not found, close MIStudio and load the GEMTool project into TransSECS to build the code then you may start MIStudio.
