Overview
The MultiselectDualList graphic is a More Layout list graphic used to display list-style values in a dual-list layout.
MultiselectDualList is useful when an application needs users to move or select multiple items between two list areas.
The moved or selected item count can be sent through the output.
Common Uses
- Displaying list-style values
- Moving items between two list areas
- Selecting multiple items
- Showing list values from an array-style source
- Sending the moved or selected item count into application logic
- Creating dual-list selection controls in an application screen
Input Behavior
MultiselectDualList supports list-style input through valueInput and updateDisplayedValue.
Array-style or list-style values update the displayed list contents.
Output Behavior
MultiselectDualList sends selection and move behavior through PrimaryOutPort.
When items are moved or selected manually, PrimaryOutPort outputs how many elements moved from one column to another.
MultiselectDualList-Specific Behavior
MultiselectDualList is designed for dual-list selection behavior.
MultiselectDualList-specific settings include:
- Name Sets the name of the MultiselectDualList graphic.
- ListDisabled Controls whether the list is disabled.
- Visible Controls whether the MultiselectDualList is shown.
Logic Ports
In the Logic Editor, MultiselectDualList includes these default ports:
- PrimaryOutPort
- updateDisplayedValue
- valueInput
The PrimaryOutPort sends the moved or selected item count.
The updateDisplayedValue port updates the displayed list values from another source.
The valueInput port also updates the displayed list values from another source.

Use MultiselectDualList when users need to move or select multiple items between two list areas.
Use MultiselectList when users need to select multiple items from a single list.
Use List when users only need to select one item.
