Overview
The Polygon graphic is a basic shape graphic similar to Box, but it displays as a multi-sided shape.
Use Polygon when a display area, fill indicator, or dashboard shape needs a custom polygon appearance instead of a rectangle or circle.
Difference From Box
Polygon shares many of the same display and input behaviors as Box, including fill behavior, label display, color action, fill direction, high and low values, and data source input behavior.
The main difference is that Polygon includes shape-specific settings for the number of sides and starting angle.
Polygon-Specific Properties
Number of Sides Controls how many sides the polygon has.
Starting Angle Controls the rotation or starting orientation of the polygon shape.
