Overview

The BootstrapButton graphic is a More Layout button control used for button-style user interaction.

BootstrapButton is similar to a standard button, but it uses a Bootstrap-style appearance and has a smaller set of visible properties in the current property panel.

BootstrapButton can display different labels for the off and on states.

Common Uses

Input Behavior

BootstrapButton can be updated from an input connection.

The updateDisplayedValue port updates the displayed button state from logic, a data source, or another component.

The valueInput port also updates the BootstrapButton value from another source.

Output Behavior

BootstrapButton sends its output value through PrimaryOutPort.

The output value is sent when the user interacts with the button.

Logic Ports

In the Logic Editor, BootstrapButton includes these default ports:

The PrimaryOutPort sends the BootstrapButton output value.

The updateDisplayedValue port updates the displayed BootstrapButton state from another source.

The valueInput port also updates the BootstrapButton value from another source.

Notes

Use BootstrapButton when a Bootstrap-style button is needed.

Use Button when the button needs additional visible settings such as enabled state, font, text color, high and low values, trigger type, image behavior, and background color.
