+The protocol converter ships with a default IP address of 192.168.5.104 . In order to configure the converter you will need to access the web server in the converter from another computer.  One easy way to do this is to directly connect from a computer to the converter using an Ethernet cable.  Change the IP address of the computer to be on the same network as the converter so that you can access the web pages.  For example, set the IP address of your computer to 192.168.5.101.

+ErgoTech's SECSTester is a free SECS/GEM host that you can use to verify your connection to the tool. Simply connect the converter to your tool and configure the SECSTester.  The IP address or hostname configured in the SECSTester should be the address of your converter.  The device id is the value configured at your tool.  More details are in the SECSTester manual.
